Join our woodturning experience sessions in Bristol's Westbury Wildlife Park. No previous experience necessary. Book your session today and unleash your creativity!
Starting with a blank of wood you will use a variety of woodturning tools and techniques to form and finish your own unique piece, for example a fir tree, penguin or twig pot.
Sessions are for around 2-3 hours and can accommodate up to 3 people at a time. Discounts are available for multiple people booking the same session.
Our standard session timeslots are Mondays 2pm and 5pm, Wednesdays 5pm or Sundays 2pm but we are happy to discuss tailoring sessions and considering other times.
To book a session, please use our contact form to arrange your session's date and time and discuss any particular requirements you may have.
Ideal Gifts
Our woodturning experience sessions make a great gift for those hard-to-buy-for family and friends. Let us know if you'd like to buy a voucher for the recipient to choose a date.
Our Workshop
We are grateful to the beautiful Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol for allowing us to set up a woodturning workshop on their site where our woodturning experiences take place.
The Westbury Wildlife Park is a tranquil oasis along the River Trym hidden in Westbury-on-Trym village in the north of Bristol where Simon is a regular volunteer on the gardening and maintenance team.
